Communications coach based in Turkey

I am a co-founder and past president of Istanbul Toastmasters.

Toastmasters is an international organization for people who want to practice and improve their public speaking and communication skills.

Istanbul Toastmasters is the first Toastmasters club in Istanbul, Turkey. The club was started in Spring 2007, and has about 50 members. When we started the club, there were no Toastmasters clubs in Istanbul. Now there are about five, some of them English-speaking, others Turkish-speaking.

The Istanbul Toastmasters members are a great group of people, some of the most interesting and intelligent people I’ve ever met. Being in the same room with them is a great pleasure, and starting that club was one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever done.

What I do

I do communications coaching at Recipient Labs, helping people with their language and presentation skills. My clients get projects approved and investments placed.

I have spent most of my adult life abroad, with stints living and working in China and in Turkey.

I have extensive international trade and operations experience, including supply chain management, ecommerce sales and customer service, and business communications coaching.
