The main course hasn’t even arrived yet, and the table is filled with food. In other words, a pretty typical Turkish dinner.
Left to right: a salad with lettuce, carrots, and tomatoes, bread, a mound of yogurt made from buffalo milk with walnuts and honey on top, a plate of some greens (I’m not sure what kind), a plate of four toppings (hummus, yogurt, a carrot salad, and "American salad," something I’m not a big fan of, mostly because of its mayonnaise content), a plate of something or other, a plate of chopped onions with parsley and balsamic vinegar, and another lettuce/carrot/tomato salad.
For the main course Mutlu and I both had kebap (Mutlu had Adana kebap, I had sarma beyti kebap).
