Couldn’t stop thinking about how to do this stretch in four days instead of five.
But in the end, my tired body won out.
So I camped by the side of the road Thursday night. There isn’t a lot of tree cover in this neck of the woods though, so I was scraping the bottom of the barrel, campsite-wise.
Also, other than a bag of nacho cheese Doritos and some crackers, I haven’t eaten since lunch with the cops Wednesday, so I’m going to make sure today (Friday) is filled with food.
Come to think of it, I spent my first night in Konya province sleeping by the side of the road. And I spent my last night in Konya province sleeping by the side of the road. Konya was good for practicing my hobo skills.
