“Turkey is a country I know very little about and may never have a chance to visit. When Matt Krause shared with my husband and I that he was planning to walk across Turkey, logistically we wondered what that would look like. Where is he going to sleep, eat, or how will he fund this?
“During the last 3 weeks I’ve been following his blogs on Heathen Pilgrim and have been amazed at his resourcefulness and dedication to this journey. In this short time I’ve learned more about this country and the same general theme of generosity and kindness continues to surface.
“It’s all very “Into The Wild,” but instead of the “leave it all behind” mentality, Matt is trying to to take us with him to explore what appears to be a beautiful country. Backing this project means I’ll continue to learn about a country I may never have a chance to see.”
