A friend of mine has a blog called "Recipe a Day" (hergun1tarif.com). At lunch today I laughed and thought, "I ought to start one called QuestionableTruckStopGrub.com."
Featured in what would be today’s entry are white beans and rice (kuru fasulye ve pilav), one of my favorite dishes, and yumurtalı kıyma (ground beef with eggs). The latter looked like it had been around for about 37 years, but I was hungry, and I LOVE the stuff, so I took a flyer on that one. Things seem to have worked out okay.
