I’ll be attending the Istanbul Toastmasters meeting the evening of Wednesday, 20 February.
If you are in Istanbul on Wednesday evening, come to the meeting. You don’t have to be a member of the club.
The meetings start promptly at 7:30pm. I dropped in on one when I was in Istanbul last November.
I was a member of this club when it started in 2007, and I don’t think I have ever gone home at the end of an ITM meeting and NOT thought, “Wow, that is one of the most fascinating bunches of people I’ve ever met, I am so glad they are in my life.”
The club meets at the Kervansaray Otel, about 300 meters northwest of Taksim Square.
Come early to chat, or call me on my cell at 0537-493-2356. I will probably be in the neighborhood an hour or so early, especially since there’s a ton of construction going on in Taksim these days, and only god knows what streets have been blocked off since I was there last.
